Amharic Bible Privacy Policy
Amharic Bible is designed to keep personal reading activity on your device. This policy explains the limited information that leaves the device when you choose an online feature.
Information kept on your device
Reading position, bookmarks, highlights, notes, saved verses, devotion preferences, first name, focus areas, and prayer requests are stored locally. They are not sent to NIPPT Tech. If you enable iCloud sync, Apple transfers the supported reading data through your own iCloud account under Apple's terms.
Ask AI
When you choose Ask AI, your question and the selected Bible passage are sent to Google Firebase AI Logic to generate a response. Firebase AI Logic and its model provider process this content under their applicable terms and retention practices. Do not include confidential personal information in an Ask AI question.
Secure downloads and announcements
Translation and audio downloads use Firebase App Check to confirm that requests come from a genuine app installation. Cloudflare delivers the requested files and may process standard network information such as IP address, request time, and security logs. Public in-app announcements contain no reader profile or Bible-study history.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. NIPPT Tech does not receive your payment-card details. The app reads Apple's subscription entitlement only to unlock premium features.
Feedback
If you email feedback, your email address and the content you send are used only to respond and support the app. Email is retained only as reasonably needed for support and legal obligations.
Advertising
The free version may show a Google Mobile Ads advertisement after launch. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, general location derived from IP, ad interactions, and consent choices to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Where required, the app asks for advertising consent before requesting an ad. Premium subscribers do not see ads. You can review Google's practices at Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Ask AI and iCloud sync are optional.
- You can remove local app data by deleting the app.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account.
Children
The app does not knowingly request personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise use of online features.
